Terri James is the Executive Assistant to James Brown, the Executive Director of the Montana Funeral Directors, and the Montana Independent Bankers Associations. Terri ‘s primary job includes membership growth, marketing, and event coordinator.
Prior to working in association management, she and her husband Mark owned and operated businesses in uptown Butte for nearly 40 years. Terri managed the marketing and sales for their company.
Terri served on the Board of Directors for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Butte, and Mainstreet Uptown Butte. Terri was a founding Board Member of the Uptown Butte Christmas Stroll. Terri also served as President of Evel Knievel Days, a non-profit festival which drew attendees from all over the world.
Terri is the proud wife to Mark, and mother to Taylor (Justin) and Austin (Rose) and welcomed her first grandchild last year, Jack Albert James.
When she is not working, she enjoys exploring the mountain, gardening, skiing, snowmobiling and bike riding.
